    Valley Police arrest one in connection with a robbery, still searching for second suspect

    VALLEY, Ala. ( WRBL ) — The Valley Alabama Police Department are still searching for a second suspect in an armed robbery that occurred overnight.

    Valley Police say they have arrested 18-year-old Cameron Jamone Tucker, in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 1300 block of Crest Club Drive shortly at about 12 a.m. Tucker is being charged with first degree robbery.

    Police are still trying to identify another man they say was involved.

    According authorities, Valley Police arrived at the scene shortly after 12 a.m. and spoke with the victim. The victim said he was walking to his apartment between 11:45 p.m. Sunday and 12:00 Monday. He was approached by two men in black shorts with black t-shirts wrapped around their heads who pointed handguns at him and demanded his keys and wallet. After the victim handed over his belongings the robbers escaped into a Red Kia Optima.

    Police said no injuries were reported.

    The vehicle was later located by police at residence in the 1600 block of Magnolia Road with three men standing around it, one of whom was Tucker. The other two men ran off as police approached and Tucker was taken into custody. He is currently being held in the Chambers County Detention Facility.

    Valley Police are asking anyone with information to call the police department at 334-756-5200 or 911.
