Watch: Thieves raid truck hauling alcohol

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for two masked men caught on camera stealing cases of alcohol from a delivery truck parked outside a Walnut Grove Road gas station.

Investigators said the truck driver was restocking shelves at the Shell in the 2900 block of Walnut Grove Monday morning when a gray Nissa Murano pulled up in front of it. Two men got out of the SUV, cut the truck’s lock, and began removing cases of alcohol.

Police said a store clerk came outside to confront the suspects, causing them to drive away. MPD has not said how much alcohol was taken.

Police believe the suspect’s vehicle was stolen because it had a broken rear window. The surveillance video showed a partial tag number of E9A or F9A.
