MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two women are accused of pulling a gun and carjacking a man who gave them a ride to a Berclair gas station.

Memphis Police say the victim told them he agreed to give two women a ride to the Superman Market Gas Station at Summer Avenue and Perkins on July 29.

While he was driving to the store, he said the women demanded his 2004 Chevy Silverado truck at gunpoint.

The truck was later recovered, but the women got away and police are looking for them.

“Even if they are cute, beautiful, or whatever it is, sometimes they are all about setting up somebody,” said Bacon.

According to police, the victim is telling two different stories about how the alleged carjacking happened.

At one point, the victim said while walking out of the store, the women, with only one seen carrying a small purse, pulled out assault rifles and kidnapped him.

The victim also told police that while taking the women home, he was carjacked.

We spoke with a manager at the market. He said the alleged victim was in the wrong himself. Regardless, police are looking for the pair last seen in the market parking lot.

We found the truck parked in the driveway at the victim’s home. No one answered the door when we knocked.
