    MPD: Man steals lottery tickets, cash register from gas station

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a suspect they say stole lottery tickets and a cash register from a northeast Memphis gas station.

    On Sunday at approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to a business burglary at Mobile One located at 6133 Macon Cove.

    They were told that the suspect approached the front door of the business and threw rocks at the window until it broke.

    The suspect then crawled into the business and took racks of scratch-off lottery tickets along with the cash register.

    The suspect fled on foot.

    Memphis Police said that no arrests have been made but this is an ongoing investigation.
