Man shot at Dollar General in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating a shooting at a Dollar General in South Memphis.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Elvis Presley Boulevard. Police said the male victim was transported to the Regional One Medical Center. He is expected to recover.

Investigators have not released any details about the shooting but said no one has been detained at this time. Police said this was an ongoing investigation.
