Roman Reigns continued his impressive shoe game with his return to the WWE this weekend.

The Tribal Chief appeared for the first time since WrestleMania 40 when he made a shock return at Summerslam 2024 . He took a hiatus from the company after losing the WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania main event.

In the meantime, Solo Sikoa took over the leadership of the Bloodline. He anointed himself to the position of Tribal Chief, recruiting Tama Tonga , Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu into the group. This has clearly gone against Roman Reigns’ wishes. He returned to do battle with his former teammate over the leadership of the faction.

One notable thing about Roman Reigns in his return was his footwear. The Big Dog has been known for his iconic shoes during his latest run, favoring a Jordan shoe when in the ring. He continued this trend at Summerslam, with a “statement piece” for sneakers in Cleveland.

GQ revealed that Roman Reigns wore Air Jordan 1 Retro Low x Trophy Room when he interfered in the Summerslam main event. They said that these were a “limited-edition spin on the low-top silhouette released earlier this year”.

The sneakers were from the Trophy Room , which is an Orlando-based sneaker boutique founded by Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus. The shoes took inspiration from the famous Jordan 1’s, which they called a “statement piece” for Roman Reigns.

His choice of shoe wasn’t a surprise. Roman Reigns announced a partnership with Jordan after WrestleMania, so expect to see him in more of their sneakers going forward.
