Gunther Believes Randy Orton Has Wasted A Lot Of His Potential

Gunther isn’t pulling any punches regarding his feelings toward Randy Orton ahead of their rematch at Bash in Berlin.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther recently spoke to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald . When asked how he feels about Randy Orton, Gunther said he believes as great as Orton is, he’s wasted a lot of his potential.

“I think Randy’s career is undeniable,” Gunther began. “But on the other hand, we got to be honest here. He was destined to be the greatest of all time. And all the bad decisions he made in his career and the issues he had, he still is one of the greatest, but he wasted a lot of potential.

“And I’m not in the business of wasting potential. I think I overexceeded in a lot of ways and I think Randy is the opposite. I think even though he achieved a lot, I still think he underachieved for the talent he has.”
