Kairi Sane Shows Off Stitches After Scary Injury On WWE RAW

Kairi Sane has a good reason for wearing an eye patch now.

During last night’s episode of WWE Raw, Kairi Sane looked to take out Isla Dawn with a dive to the outside. Instead, the ‘Pirate Princess’ found herself colliding with Belair and the edge of the nearby commentary table. After the impact, Sane emerged with a bloody eye — one that would reportedly later require stitches.

Sane has since confirmed this to be the case through a photo that has now circulated across social media. “I need an eye patch, haha,” Sane captioned the photo, which shows a series of stitches above her left eye.

As of now, there is no word if Sane’s eye injury will keep her out of action. Regardless, Sane has received strong support from her Damage CTRL stablemates IYO SKY and Asuka.

“I’m proud of my tag team partner,” SKY wrote in response to an image of Sane’s previously bloody eye on X. “Bleeding was nothing to her. Kairi Sane is insanely tough!!!! #DamageCTRL will get golds again soon….!!!!”

Asuka, who is currently recovering from knee surgery , extended similar sentiments, writing to X , “I’m glad you’re okay. Nice damage control…[love-you emoji].”

In the process of being busted open, Sane, along SKY, also lost a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship contenders match to Unholy Union (Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre). As such, Fyre and Dawn will now challenge Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the titles on next week’s show.
