Great 8 Events: 33rd Down Home Family Reunion and more

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Are you looking for something exciting to do this weekend?

Good Morning Richmond Anchor Delaney Hall and StormTracker 8 Meteorologist Matt DiNardo discussed some of the events taking place this weekend in the WRIC NOW livestream studio in another episode of Great 8 Events.

This week’s featured event is the 33rd Down Home Family Reunion , which takes place on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., at Abner Clay Park.

In this episode of Great 8 Events, Delaney gave us a preview of what to expect at the upcoming event with her interview Janine Bell, President and Artistic Director of Elegba Folklore Society.

Other events going on this weekend include Movies in the Outfield at The Diamond , After 5 Fridays at VMFA and Outdoor Summer Performance Series at the Children’s Museum of Richmond .
