    PHOTO: Car catches fire in drive-thru of Henrico KFC

    HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A car caught fire while those inside were placing an order at a Henrico County KFC Friday night.

    Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, firefighters with the Henrico County Division of Fire were called to the KFC location in the 4800 block of Williamsburg Road for report of a vehicle fire.

    When they arrived, they found a car at the ordering point of the drive-thru engulfed in flames on its front end.

    Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread to the restaurant. According to fire officials, no one was hurt as a result of the fire, but the car was destroyed.

    Those in the car reportedly told firefighters at the scene that the car had been experiencing previous mechanical problems.
