    Office on VCU campus construction site in Richmond reportedly broken into

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A portable office at a construction site on Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) campus in Richmond was reportedly broken into between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

    According to the VCU Police Department, a breaking and entering was reported at 535 West Broad Street, which is a construction site.

    Between 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 and 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, a suspect is said to have broken into a portable office on the lot and taken valuables from it.

    VCU Police said no suspect information is available. An investigation into this incident is ongoing and patrols have been increased in the area.
