Petersburg Area Art League to host Play in the Park twilight concert

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Looking to wind down as the weekend begins? Petersburg Area Art League will host a Play in the Park twilight concert with local performers Friday night.

The concert will be held at the Petersburg Area Art League’s Art Park on Friday, Aug. 23, with music starting at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees are recommended to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs for comfortable seating, as well as snacks.

Jazz performers include Paul Taylor and Company and Shockoe Zoo, according to organizers.
