    Man shot in stomach in Henrico, police investigating

    HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Henrico County Police are investigating after a man was shot in the stomach on Saturday.

    According to Henrico Police, officers responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Cornett Street on Saturday, Aug. 31 at around 3:47 p.m. where a man was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was then transported to a local hospital by Henrico Fire with what was reported to be a serious injury.

    Henrico Police and the Henrico County Police Criminal Investigative Section Detectives are on scene conducting an investigation.
