KAUKAUNA − The competitive fire that fuels Karly Meredith will be at an all-time high next softball season. The Kaukauna standout pitcher had a phenomenal junior season by any measure with a 27-1 record, 0.30 ERA and 335 strikeouts in 163⅓ innings. She was also sensational at the plate with a .481 average, eight home runs and 24 RBI. And all those accomplishments have earned her the Post-Crescent player of the year in softball for this season.

Three Xavier players named to 2024 All-Bay Conference Softball Team
Xavier had three players named to the 2024 All-Bay Conference Softball Team, which was voted on by the conference coaches following the season. Junior catcher/infielder Ella Bauman was a second-team selection, and senior utility player Mariah Potter and junior pitcher Addison Hervey were among the honorable mention selections for Xavier, which finished 7-13 overall and 4-8 in the Bay Conference.

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – The Green Bay Rockers (0-1) lost to the Wausau Woodchucks (1-0) in the first game of the second half of the season 8-1. Wausau jumped out to an early lead with a three-run homer from DH Bryce Hubbard (Northwest Florida State College).
