Police searching for man suspected of armed robbery; suspect may still be armed
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department is searching for a man suspected in an armed robbery at Bottega on Sunday, July 21, at around 5 p.m. Per the WPD, the suspect is in his 30s with a buzz cut, stocky and is wearing a grey shirt and jeans.

Wilmington police: Traffic lights down at busy intersection
Traffic lights at a Wilmington intersection are currently out of service. The lights at Eastwood Road and Wrightsville Avenue are currently down as a result of a vehicle collision, according to a Facebook post from the Wilmington Police Department on Saturday.
