BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV)—The Town of Bluffton is asking residents who experienced flooding to fill out a survey that will be used for future severe weather events.

The information that Bluffton residents can provide could help to inform policies and plan for possible future improvements to stormwater infrastructure like drains, culverts and retention ponds. The data will also be used for FEMA reporting and community outreach.

The survey and damage assessments are available in hard copy and online via: https://arcg.is/10a5Sn

Residents are asked to drop off or mail the hard copies of surveys to: Bluffton Town Hall, 20 Bridge Street, Bluffton, South Carolina, 29910.

Hard copy and electronic versions are due Oct. 31, 2024.

If you want to speak with staff and researchers, Bluffton is offering two public meetings. All meetings are drop-ins.

These meetings allow you to meet Bluffton staff that can speak more in-depth with you about your experiences with flooding episodes.
