BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV)—Continuing our 15 for 15 series, today’s team is the Bluffton Bobcats, as they enter their third season under Hayden Gregory.

Last year, Bluffton went 6-5 overall and played in the first round of the state playoffs. They were 3-2 in the region, which earned them the number three spot. their non-region schedule is pretty tough, it includes Andrew Jackson, a team that made it to the third round of the playoffs last year, Savannah Country Day, another playoff team, and Hampton County, who advanced to the state semifinals last season. They hope this gauntlet prepares them for their new region

“I think we’re going to be really good,” wide receiver Nate Ulmer said. “I think this is the most complete we’ve been in the three to four years that I’ve been here. I think we have talent everywhere, especially on the offensive side of the ball. We’ve got a really good quarterback. I think he’s the best in the state. We also have one of the best receivers in the state. Play calling, coaching. Everything is coming together this year.”

Bluffton starts the season with a week-zero match-up at home against Whale Branch at 7:30 p.m.
