HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WSAV) – Hilton Head Island is bringing back the Island Jam music festival for the second year this September.

There are five full days of activities, including 20 shows from 30 different music artists. Some artists include LoCash, Jeffrey Steele and Earl Bud Lee.

Many of the artists are traveling in from Nashville, but even some of Hilton Head’s local artists will share the stage.

Natalie Harvey, director of Cultural Affairs, says there’s a little something for everyone.

“We are having events at eight different venues,” she said. “They range in size from the Jazz Corner for an intimate evening with dinner to the Liberty Oak out at Harbor Town.”

The goal is for residents and visitors to know that fall in the Lowcountry is a season for having fun and building connections.

“Summer is really winding up here on Hilton Head Island, and September is a great time to be here,” Harvey said. “It’s also a great opportunity for our island residents to get back out and reconnect with one another after a really busy summer.

“We kind of look at this songwriter’s festival as being the first of many great events that builds our community here on Hilton Head.”

The festival runs from Sept. 18 to 22. To access more information on the festival, like locations, scheduling and special ticketing, visit hiltonheadislandjam.com.
