    Taylors woman dies nearly a month after being hit by car

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A woman that was hit by a car almost a month ago died from her injuries on Tuesday night.

    According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred on July 18 at around 5:45 p.m. at 120 Holly Circle in Lyman.

    The woman, later identified as Nellie Wells, 72, died at around 5:51 p.m. at Spartanburg Medical Center.

    South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
