    Officials still searching for missing Greenville Co. man

    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has located the vehicle that belongs to missing victim, Mark Wagnon.

    The vehicle was located on Tower Road, off Highway 107, and was discovered at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

    The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, are currently on scene conducting a thorough search of the area attempting to locate Wagnon.

    Deputies said a hiker discovered the gray 2010 Nissan Sentra on Tower Road near Highway 107.

    The vehicle was located at a gate that was secured. Keys were found inside of the vehicle
    but no one was located inside of the vehicle.

    Wagnon is 5’7” tall and weighs 158 pounds. Mark has a white beard and wears brownish black
    glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans.

    Deputies ask that if you see anyone matching his description, immediately call 911.

    Deputies in Greenville County have a new leads on the whereabouts of a man who was last seen Monday afternoon .

    According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Mark Wagnon was seen near the Stumphouse Ranger Station on Highway 28 in Oconee County on August 19 at around 11 p.m.

    Upon checking video surveillance, officials were able to confirm that Wagnon was at the station on Tuesday.

    But where did the missing 66-year-old go next?

    The sheriff’s office said they believe that Wagnon left the location and heading north on either Highway 28 or Highway 107.

    Attempts made by search and rescue teams to locate Wagnon have proved unsuccessful.

    Investigators said they believe that Wagnon has possibly gone toward Raybun or Franklin counties in Georgia or Jackson County, North Carolina.

    Officials encouraged drivers and locals to keep an eye out for Wagnon and his car, as he is in need of immediate medical care for memory issues.
