LAKE WYLIE, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Deputies are seeking a man accused of peeping on a woman in a Publix bathroom.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 5 p.m. on April 19 at the Publix grocery store on S.C. Hwy. 274. That’s when a female customer entered a restroom stall, and noticed someone wearing white Nike high-top sneakers in the next stall.

The individual appeared to be sitting on the toilet and placed his cellphone underneath the stall and began turning the camera around until the female customer was in view.

The alleged victim exited the restroom immediately and notified the store’s staff. The suspect was then reportedly seen by the female customer and staff exiting the women’s restroom.

Photos of the suspect show him wearing a blue T-shirt, shorts and a necklace.
