Hendersonville Police Department investigating bank robbery

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – The Hendersonville Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the SECU, Friday morning.

According to police a male suspect, wearing a medical face mask, handed an employee a note, demanding money. The suspect was last seen leaving the business on foot.

There were no injuries to customers or employees, and area banks were immediately alerted. Police said the situation is considered an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
