GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The search for the missing and endangered man, Mark Wagnon, has been cancelled.

Wagnon has been found, alive and safe, according to SLED.

Wagnon had been missing since Monday, and deputies with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office discovered Wagnon’s vehicle on Tower Road, off Highway 107, on Thursday.

According to the Oconee County Emergency Services, Wagnon was located Saturday afternoon at around 3:15 p.m. by a volunteer search group.

Wagnon was located approximately half a mile from where his car was found on Thursday. He was found near the Foothills Trail, in a valley near a creek, but not on a trail.

Wagnon was in good condition and was able to talk, but did have a few minor injuries and was confused and dehydrated when found, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department.

Wagnon’s family was notified and he was extracted by rescue members. He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
