ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – Officers with the Anderson Police Department announced that drivers should expect traffic delays in the city due to the opening of the new Whataburger location.

Whataburger is officially open for business in the city of Anderson at 2900 Main Street.

Police said they will be assisting with traffic but commuters should expect delays on Concord Road, North Main Street and Whitehall Road.

The Anderson location is one of eight that the burger chain announced would be coming to the Upstate in 2024.

The Mauldin location opened two weeks ago on August 12 and the Boiling Springs & Greenville locations have been open since July.
