Woman stole purse, wallet from Forest City restaurant

FOREST CITY, N.C. (WSPA) — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who allegedly stole a purse and wallet from a Forest City Italian restaurant.

According to the Forest City Police Department, the larceny occurred on August 28 at Babbo’s Italian Kitchen.

Officials said the suspect took a Michael Kors purse and wallet from the victim.

The woman was described by police as Black with a lighter complexion, being around 20 to 21 years old.

The suspect was also wearing a white sweatshirt, black shorts, yellow crocs with two roads of braids in her hair at the time of the theft.
