UPDATE: Powers has been safely located.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered woman.

The missing person, Martha Powers, 86, was last seen on Friday by her son at their residence at 4:15 p.m. This is the first time a missing person report has been filed regarding Powers, however her son stated that she has gone missing on previous occasions.

Powers is described as a 5-foot, one inch tall, white woman that weighs around 160 pounds and has grey hair. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, with a food stain near the collar, blue jeans, blue athletic shoes and wears glasses.

Deputies said that Powers is believed to be driving a white 2021 Toyota Camry with tan interior. The vehicle has a distinguishing feature; the “Y” missing from the Camry logo on the back of the car. The license plate is described as an unreadable, crumpled-up paper tag.

Anyone with information regarding Powers’s whereabouts or the vehicle is urged to contact the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office at (864) 503-4500 or dial 911.
