GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Deputies said a man was injured during an arrest Tuesday in Greenville County.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said they conducted a traffic stop on Pelham Road near Beacon Drive around 11:40 a.m.

During the stop, investigators said the driver, 35-year-old Logan Brady, ran away.

The sheriff’s office said they deployed a K-9 to help with the arrest because Brady was resisting when he was detained.

Brady sustained injuries during the arrest and was taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to deputies.

He was charged with failure to stop, driving under suspension, reckless driving, driving left of center, defective equipment, and resisting arrest.

He will be booked into the Greenville County Detention Center once he is released from the hospital.
