Downtown Bedford to host 10th annual Chocolate Walk

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Something super sweet is going to take place this weekend in Downtown Bedford.

The 10th annual Chocolate Walk will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 24. Walkers will have the chance to visit participating businesses to receive a chocolate-themed giveaway. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for a golden ticket that will be hiding in one of the giveaways.

The lucky winner will receive a one-half pound of FREE chocolate each month, March thru December 2024, from Bedford Candies (in-store pickups only).

The walks take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday. Tickets to participate cost $25 and you can register at Olde Bedford Brewing Company or Founders Crossing. Once you register you’ll be given a map of the participating locations.

“You would get a map, you would get a bottle of water and you get to explore our town see what all it has to offer,” Lindsay Salas, Main Street Manager for Downtown Bedford said. “As well as sample all the sweet chocolate that all the merchants are providing.”

There will be free parking in town and at the parking garage all day.
