    Family Sporting Safety Fair to take place in Bedford County

    BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Ambulance and fire services will be holding an event to promote how staying active is important to building strong bones and muscles.

    The Chestnut Ridge Ambulance Association, located in Alum Bank, Bedford County, along with the American Trauma Society of Pennsylvania will be holding a Family Sporting Safety Fair on Saturday, April 6.

    The fair will be held at the Alum Bank Fire Company’s Banquet hall on King St. Clair Road from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. where visitors will learn how to stay safe while enjoying activities. There will be giveaways, door prizes, prevention education and ideas for activities.

    The fair is open to people of all ages and the fire company kitchen will be open to buy refreshments.
