SCI Houtzdale to host two-day job fair in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — SCI Houtzdale is hosting a two-day job fair in hopes of filling several positions.

SCI Houtzdale is hiring corrections officer trainees and other positions across multiple fields. It will occur at the correctional institute at 209 Institution Drive in Houtzdale.

• Tuesday, April 9, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 10, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections said that no appointment or registration is required to attend, however, you’re encouraged to apply beforehand. Onsite interviews will take place each day. You’re asked to bring two forms of identification.

Reminder: The DOC has lowered the minimum age requirement for corrections officer trainee positions from 21 to 18.
