DuBois, Sandy Township approve design renovation for municipal building

DUBOIS, Pa. (WTAJ) — The DuBois and Sandy Township consolidation joint board is moving forward with plans to expand the city’s municipal building.

On Wednesday, a unanimous vote was reached for KTH Architects to design the renovations. If all goes according to plan, this would include locker rooms for police and new officers for administrators.

These renovations come as the two prepare to merge.

The current Sandy Township building is also expected to receive upgrades. It will be used as a storage facility for files and emergency management equipment.
