Disqualified candidates still listed on ballot in some PA counties

(WTAJ) — If you’re heading to the polls Tuesday, election officials said you need to be aware of some incorrect information on the ballot.

Several Democratic and Republican candidates for U.S. Senate were removed by court order but their names are still listed in some counties due to ballot printing and mailing deadlines. This includes Blair, Bedford, Elk, Huntingdon and Jefferson.

In Blair County, Director of Elections Sarah Seymour said notices will be placed at each polling place to remind voters that any vote, other than a write-in for Democrat William Parker or Republican Joseph Vodvarka, will not be counted.

The notice was also sent to mail-in voters.
