BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new improvements to the Sliver Lining Drive-In on Tuesday.

A ribbon cutting was held on May 14 to celebrate a new projector for the drive-in as well as a way to thank the businesses involved in the upgrades. Kinsely and Sons, for example, was a business that was happy to be able to help out. They helped with relocating the projection house, extending circuits and adding outlets and other accessories to support the new equipment.

“We don’t always get the opportunity to do things for the community as much as we’d want to, so when this came along, even five years ago, we couldn’t resist but to help out, and you know, we’ve got an opportunity once again to keep things rolling along here at the fairgrounds, the movies, and the silver lining drive-in and when you get the opportunity, you take it,” Greg Kinsely, president of Kinsely and Sons, said.
