STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — The fourth annual Rhoneymeade Fest is back with more than 45 local and national musical artists coming to Centre County.

A range of experimental and multicultural generals and styles will take the stage from May 30 through June 2. Tickets are on sale online now. Kids under 17 are free.

“As we enter our fourth year, Rhoneymeade Fest has proven to be much more than just a creative and inclusive event for artists, attendees, and volunteers,” Corey Elbin, director of Gorinto Productions and the festival’s lead organizer, said. “It’s become an intersectional experience that brings together a wide range of people who have different spheres of interest, ranging from experimental music to environmental awareness.

Parts of the festival take place in downtown State College on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 and are free and open to the public. Friday’s programming will feature international and globally-inspired acts to Happy Valley, stemming from the landmark Secret Planet State College music series. The area will also have late-night DJs starting at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 1.

On Saturday and Sunday, June 2, events will be held at Rhoneymeade Arboretum and will require tickets. In addition, for the first time this year, festival attendees will be able to camp on the Rhoneymeade Arboretum grounds for a $30 daily fee.

“It’s very inspiring to know that Rhoneymeade Fest has become a mechanism for expanding connections among people in Central Pennsylvania and beyond,” Elbin says. “The talent at Rhoneymeade Fest rivals that of any festival in the country, in a friendly, open, and naturally beautiful environment. The performances will include music from different countries, with styles ranging from electronic, traditional, interactive, electro-acoustic, improvisational, experimental, and many other diverse types of music, and everyone involved is united by a dedication to pure creative spirit.”
