The courts were advised that from Feb. 2021 to April 2021 Mazey conspired with others to possess and sell 40 grams or more of a mixture that contained fentanyl, a mixture that contained heroin and another mixture that had cocaine. Mazey was also caught in April of 2021 attempting to distribute a substance containing cocaine and fentanyl, according to United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan.

Mazey was intercepted as part of a federal wiretap obtaining quantities of drugs that he then distributed to others.
