HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A York man was arrested in Huntingdon Wednesday for allegedly driving under the influence in a stolen car.

Charges have been filed against Tyler Robarge, 32, for receiving stolen property and allegedly admitting to police that he took drugs earlier in the day.

Around 9:51 p.m. Aug. 28, state police in Huntingdon County were in the area of 9th Street and its intersection with Moore Street within the Huntingdon Borough. Charges show they saw a blue Hyundai Accent traveling east and through automated license plate recognition, they learned the vehicle was stolen.

Police proceeded to pull over the car. Robarge complied when asked to exit the car and was detained by troopers. According to the criminal complaint, Robarge allegedly admitted to state police he had used Suboxone earlier that day.

Troopers noted in the complaint that his “pupils were constricted and non-reactive to light”. He went through a standard field sobriety test where he showed numerous indicators of being impaired, according to the affidavit.

Robarge was taken to Penn Highlands for the opportunity for a blood draw, however, he refused to test around 10:27 p.m.

Troopers said they found two buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual films in his wallet during a search at their barracks, charges show.
