    One dead after crash in Cambria County

    CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A crash over the weekend in Cambria County left one dead, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

    The crash occurred on Saturday, Aug. 31, on Beaver Valley Road at the intersection with Hughstown Road. Marvin Branton, 66, crossed both lanes while taking a left curve turn in his Mitsubishi Outlander, PSP noted. He then entered a ditch, struck a culvert end and came to a final rest.

    Branton was transported to UMPC Altoona where he later died due to injuries sustained during the crash. PSP noted that he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
