SEYMOUR, Conn. (WTNH) — Seymour first responders received 12 pallets worth of essential personal protective equipment and supplies on Thursday thanks to a local business.

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation gave away gloves, wipes and more to businesses and homeowners who are trying to recover from this weekend’s floods.

“Ocean State Job Lot has a store here,” Seymour First Selectwoman Annemarie Drugonis said. “You know, they were affected, as well, by the flooding that was here, and they asked us, ‘What do you need? What can we do for you?'”

The supplies were distributed at a tent in the Klarides Village parking lot.
