    Grad student’s car robbed on Yale University campus

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven police say a Yale University graduate student was robbed early Wednesday morning when returning to his parked car.

    Police said the robbery occurred on the 270 block of Prospect Street around 12:26 a.m.

    The graduate student was returning to his car when he noticed the door was open and the vehicle seemed to have been rummaged through.

    He then reported being pushed by a masked male, who he said was about 5 feet and 6 inches tall.

    The suspect reportedly reached into the student’s car and took something before running toward Sachem Street to a silver Honda Accord waiting there.

    3 injured in 2 separate New Haven shootings

    No injuries were reported.
