Plug in and play for 75 friends at CA House performance room

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) — All musicians know that learning and mastering a song is only half the battle.

Eventually, you’ll have to learn it well enough to perform for someone…standing under the lights and feeling the stare of an audience.

But players in St. Clairsville are now conquering their stage fright with the help of a wooden platform and a microphone.

The performance room at CA House Music is now open for booking to anyone who has a song to share.

Previously, the space was only available for recitals and internal demonstrations, but now you can invite 75 of your friends to see your musical progress.

Store staff say it’s intended for those who don’t have a venue of their own, especially younger musicians for whom bars are off-limits.

They need a place to play and they’re practicing in a basement or whatever. Mom and Dad are screaming at them, you know. But they don’t have a place to perform.
