Hats off to the women celebrated during the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Ladies Luncheon

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce held its annual Ladies Luncheon at Grand Vue Park on Thursday.

The theme, women wear many hats, is an acknowledgment of the different contributions women give to the community, as well as an invitation for guests to wear their best hats.

Ashely Wear, Marshall County chamber board president, says it’s such a wonderful feeling to be able to honor all the women who have made a difference throughout the state.

“The most beautiful thing about this is we get to hear from very powerful leader in the community, these are women that have surpassed the glass ceiling and have really made an impact in Marshall County.”

Wear says that whether you are a fitness instructor, superintendent, or leader in the community, this is a celebration for women from all walks of life.
