WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — The Ohio County Family Resource Network held its Annual Resource Fair on Wednesday.

With almost 40 booths covering topics like victim services, education programs, and mental health resources, it’s easy to find the help you need all in one place.

Claudia Raymer, Executive Director of the Ohio County Family Resource Network, says that these agencies not only work together to put on the fair but constantly strategize solutions for tough issues throughout the year.

“The way we build a stronger community is that the whole community knows what those resources are so when you do run into someone in need or who is having a tough time you go, oh wait, I know who does that – and can make the connections.”

“So, I think if someone comes here not really knowing what to expect, what to look for, they’ll find something that focuses on what their looking for even if they don’t know it.”

Kelly Coffin, member of Jobs and Hope West Virginia

Raymer says talking face-to-face builds connections and helps educate the community by bringing up-to-date information to the forefront of the conversation, no matter what topic is being discussed.
