Mother claims her 3 kids were injured on rollercoaster at town fair

A mother said her three kids were injured while riding a roller coaster at a town’s fair.

Jayme Cain said on social media and to WPXI that all her kids were on a rollercoaster at the West Alexander, PA Fair on Thursday night.

WPXI spoke to a Washington County 911 supervisor who said medics were called to the scene after the ride abruptly stopped.

Cain said that the ride went off the tracks and came off the cinder blocks and that was holding the ride up.

Cain also says the kids’ faces hit the front of the ride and that one of her kids was partially thrown out of the ride. The ride allegedly didn’t have a safety belt according to Cain but a chain link to strap the kids in.

7News reached out to fair officials to determine the extent of the injuries. Cain did say that 10 kids were evaluated at the scene.
