12 Points Public Market opens Sep. 5

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Several local business owners are preparing for the opening of the 12 Points Public Market.

The market’s doors will open on September 5 at 7 a.m. Business owners who will call the market home are putting the finishing touches on their booths and turning the market into a permanent home. Black Cat Confections owner Edie Hollis says the space provides a new chance for local vendors to establish themselves in the community.

“I’ve worked for other people, doing what they want to do,” Hollis said. “I want to work for myself, I want to do what I want to do, and this is what I want to do, so seeing this come to life is just amazing.”

The market will include indoor seating along with five local vendors to choose from.
