Armed Robbery at Captain D’s in Beckley

BECKLEY, WV – A man is under arrest according to the West Virginia State Police, after robbing Captain D’s on Eisenhower Drive.

The troopers arrived at the scene at 8:45a.m on August 10th, 2024. Troopers spoke with a Captains D’s employee who identified the robber as Brandon Jefferson. Troopers learned that Jefferson was a former Captain D’s employee.

Jefferson fled the scene with $1152.47. Jefferson was caught near the restaurant. Troopers were able to successfully recover the money and handgun used during the commission of the crime.

Jefferson was arrested and charged with first degree armed robbery, Felon in possession of a firearm and use of firearm in the commission of a felony.

This investigation is complete awaiting the court process.
