High school football preview: Tazewell Bulldogs

TAZEWELL, VA (WVNS) – The Bulldogs of Tazewell had an exciting 2023 season of football, reaching the playoffs before losing to Union 27-6 after beating Ridgeview convincingly 54-18 in the 1st round.

The Bulldogs had more highs than lows – but they’ll look to improve from a big loss to Graham last season – granted, that was a team that made it to the Class 2 championship game. Ultimately, Tazewell finished 7-3 in the regular season and will look to be even better in 2024.

Tazewell begins their season on September 6 at Riverheads. Their first home game isn’t until September 20th when they host Fort Chiswell.
