The Dream Bean Coffee House brings good food and drink to Grassroots District

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — The Dream Bean Coffee House in Princeton has seen just about two weeks of business since it opened on August 14th.

The coffee house stands in the heart of the Grassroots District on Mercer Street and welcomes everyone in.

Operated by the RiffRaff Arts Collective, the Dream Bean hopes to serve as not only a place for good food and drinks, but also as a venue for art and music.

Lori McKinney, Director of the Collective, said the coffee house has been welcome in the community.

“It’s been a really beautiful couple of weeks. I know the community has been very excited about the opening and to be back in this space which is such a special place to be. Everybody’s been responding really positively, and it’s been an exciting time.” said McKinney.

Cody Perkins, General Manager of the Dream Bean agreed.

“Business has been great, plenty of people coming in. Everyone who comes in seems to really enjoy it. Seems to have a happy vibe.” said Perkins.

Perkins said the most popular items so far seem to be the white chocolate mochas and the strawberry banana smoothies.

The Dream Bean also offers a wide variety of teas, as well as non-caffeinated options like hot chocolates and vanilla cremes.

The Dream Bean is located at 860 Mercer Street in Princeton.
