    Michigan State Police are investigating murder of 31-year-old man shot in Saginaw driveway overnight

    SAGINAW (WWJ) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Saginaw where police said a man was shot and killed overnight.

    According to officials with the Michigan State Police Third District, a 31-year-old man was shot in a driveway in the 3300 block of Ruckle St., near E. Holland Rd. and Genesee Ave., at around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

    The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but died of his injuries, police said.

    Police did not specify whether the man was in his own driveway or someone else's, and his name was not immediately released.

    MSP said there are no suspects in custody at this time, as an investigation by Saginaw Major Case Unit detectives is ongoing.
