    Have you seen Henrietta? Detroit Police searching for missing 70-year-old woman with dementia

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- Tips are wanted in the case of a 70-year-old Detroit woman, reported missing on Friday on the city's east side.

    Detroit Police say Henrietta Carter left her home in the 14100 block of Rossini, in the area of 8 Mile Rd. and Gratiot, at around noon on Aug. 16, and did not return.

    According to Carter's daughter, she has dementia.

    Carter is described as a Black female, 5'7'' tall and weighing around 220 lbs., with gray/silver hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and New Balance shoes.

    Anyone who has seen this missing person, or who has any information about her whereabouts, is asked to call Commander Lawrence Purifoy of the DPD's 9th Precinct at 313-596-5940.
