TIPTON, MICH. (WWJ) The remains found on the property of the husband of Dee Warner; a Lenawee County mother of five who has been missing for over three years; are "inconclusive", according to Michigan State Police.

In a statement on X ; Michigan State Police First District said the Jackson County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy Tuesday (8/20) on the remains found over the weekend on property owned by Dale Warner.

"Further testing is needed to positively ID the remains," State Police said.

Dee Warner, then 52, was last seen at the home she shared with Dale in late April of 2021--on Munger Road in Franklin Township, about 10 miles north of Adrian.

In November of last year; authorities arrested Dale and charged him with Open Murder and Tampering with Evidence, despite the fact that no body had been found at the time. He was ultimately given a $15 million bond. In June, a Lenawee County judge bound him over for trial.

In March of 2024, a judge declared Dee legally dead.

The further testing of the remains will be done within "the next few days," State Police said.

Dee Warner was a mother of five adult children from a previous marriage, a grandmother, and owner of a trucking business.
